KATY, TX- In Katy, a man fired from Knight Transportation early on Wednesday morning took his anger to the extreme.
Most of us have felt bitterness towards a co-worker, but in this case, Marion Guy Williams, 65, shot his former co-worker, Mike Dawid, and then killed himself.
According to Harris County Sheriff's Office, they spoke to an employee who said the disgruntled man stated "y'all ruined my life".
As Williams entered the building, he acted as if he had a target in mind; this according to HSCO who spoke to a fellow co-worker.
After an initial warning shot, Williams began shooting.
Dawid was the company's fuel and driver manager. NewsFix spoke to a fellow neighbor, crushed after losing a friend. "It's so devastating to me because he was a great person."
Two employees were injured from the shooting's debris. One police officer suffered a knee injury.
High schoolers, across the street at Morton Ranch High School, were put on lock down during the commotion. Mario Juarez, a senior, says, "It was an ordinary day until out of no where the principal starts yelling it's a lock down . . . and everybody started running to the classrooms".
Whatever the shooter's motives, no one had to die.
