KALAMAZOO, MI - We've heard there's an app for everything, but what Jason Dalton is claiming is taking it too far. Dalton is accused of shooting eight people, killing six while driving for Uber in Kalamazoo, Michigan last month.
According to documents released by authorities, Dalton claimed the driving app made him do it. He said he had no control of his body and that the Uber app actually instructed him on who to kill, and when.
He even said he didn't fire on police when he was finally caught because the app instructed him not too. A judge has ordered that Dalton undergo a psych evaluation before the case can continue.
