HOUSTON, Tx. — Have you paid your traffic tickets? If not, that knock on the door might be Precinct 4 Constables.
“We have a little over 40,000 warrants in our system and we try to get them, as many as we can to at least come in and take care of their warrants. We don’t want to have to go to your house if we don’t have to” says Precinct 4 Constable, Sgt. Barton Stephenson.
But they will… just ask Ldavidrick Washington who was still in his pajamas when police busted him. “He was arrested for 6 open traffic warrants and Obligation of a Child- probably Truancy for not going to school” explains Sgt. Stephenson.
An alleged deadbeat dad is next on the list. “We’re looking for a Mr. Terry Sutton. He has an open child support capias warrant for failure to pay his child support” says Stephenson. Lucky for Terry, he’s moved and doesn’t live at this address anymore.
Terry Sutton and anyone else with unpaid tickets, you should pay the fines by calling the constables at 281-401-6255 or turn yourself in. Otherwise, the next knock on your door might be these gentlemen or their colleagues.
