HOUSTON, TX – With over 6 inches of rain across the Houston area, and with the heavens expected to stay open all week, good luck staying dry.

Cars around Mayde Creek slowed down, over 5 ½ inches poured in turning roads into rivers. And talk about watered down gas, unless you had a boat there’s no filling up at area gas stations. Rain levels rose so high, it reached the pumps.

In northwest Houston, the storm toppled limbs from a tree. A woman, in her mid fifties, was found dead in a puddle of water surrounded by branches and downed power line.

Be careful out there we’ve already gotten enough tears and water.
