HOUSTON, TX – We were warned, we were ready and what did we get? Rain! No Rainapocolypse, no Stormageddeon. Just good old, wet, slippery rain. Not bad since were in a drought.

This wet Wednesday isn’t the cataclysmic event everyone was anticipating. Storms made driving a nightmare, as usual.

We found a car in a ditch near George Bush Park. We saw the ponding and puddles in the same places that usually get the ponding and the puddles.

Most of the area got about two to four inches of rain and yes, we are under flash flood watches and some warnings for the rest of the day.

Overall, it’s just a rainy day in Houston. Soak it up.
