The Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao fight is the brawl that everyone is talking about.
Massive crowds are expected in bars all over Houston Saturday night for the big showdown, but not everywhere you'd expect will be showing the match.
Small bars -- that means places that only hold about 150-people (101-150 people) have to pay a licensing fee of up to five thousand bucks just to show the fight in their establishment. But bigger bars have to pay over fifteen thousand dollars.
Those hefty fees may cause some bars to try to beat the system by paying the 99-dollar-and-99-cent pay-per-view fee -- a record high, by the way.
But that`s where the pay-per-view police come in! These law enforcement- auditors plan to hit the streets on fight night searching for bars who are showing the fight illegally. They get a two hundred and fifty dollar bounty for every location they find broadcasting without a license.
If caught, a bar or restaurant can be fined up to one-hundred thousand dollars and that's not the kind of knockout -- that these fans are looking for on fight night!
