HOUSTON – Nearly three weeks after Deputy Darren Goforth was gunned down at a gas station, communities continue to honor his memory.
Harris County commissioners voted Tuesday to rename Horsepen Creek Park to Deputy Darren Goforth Park. The park is about two miles from the gas station where he was killed.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office tweeted out a message thanking commissioners for their decision.
