HOUSTON — The summer can’t officially end without one last bikini competition— and this one was nearly nine months in the making!

The 12th Annual Pre Labor Day Bikini Content was held Thursday night at The Pub Fountains in Stafford, and 16 Houston-area women were able strut their bumps down the catwalk. But before  stripping down to their bare skin, bellies and bikinis, the women first competed in baby-related activities such as diaper changing.

The contestants were later asked a series of questions by event emcee Rod Ryan from 94.5 The Buzz. In fact, the yearly pageant is hosted by The Buzz’s Rod Ryan Show. Our very own Maggie Flecknoe was invited for a fourth year to join the three-person judges panel.

The night was filled with laughter as contestants shared their due date, babies name and where the child was conceived.  The judges were also given a chance to guess the babies’ genders. While all the women were in the third trimesters, some were first time mothers and others were veterans.

The winner, Jacqui Hertlein, left with $3,000 cash and prizes.
