HOUSTON, TX – A Houston Independent School District teacher at Thurgood Marshall Elementary School has been accused of writing on his students with a marker when they forget their school materials.
The school district isn’t denying the claims.
A statement from HISD said:
“On Tuesday, November 5, Thurgood Marshall Elementary School administrators received a report of a teacher who used a marker to write reminder notes on his students when they forgot their school materials. Administrators launched an investigation and met with the teacher, who confirmed the report. The situation is being handled as a personnel matter, and the teacher has been directed to cease the practice.”
