Potted Potter: The Unauthorized Harry Experience

Potted Potter: The Unauthorized Harry Experience is playing at the Hobby Center through Sunday.

Guests will enjoy 70 minutes of a funny spin on all seven Harry Potter books featuring all of your favorite characters. It plays from now until Nov. 8.

Tickets start at $48.


Be the Astronaut at Space Center Houston

Do you want to be an Astronaut?

Be the Astronaut, sponsored by the City of Webster, will be at Space Center Houston every day until Jan. 3. Visitors will get a hands-on experience of space travel with a simulated rocket launch and other interactive technology.


Lone Star Rally

The Lone Star Rally is back in Galveston this weekend marking its 15th anniversary.

From now until Sunday, the rally will feature concerts, exhibits and plenty of vendors throughout the city’s downtown and Seawall Boulevard.

Admission is free.


Houston Margarita Festival

The 4th annual Houston Margarita Festival is this Sunday.

More than 20,000 margarita lovers are expected to make their way to Sam Houston Park for lots of food, fun, and more than 19 exotic flavors of handmade margaritas.

General admission starts at $25.


Salute to Military Service

Kemah Boardwalk and the City of Kemah are paying tribute to our armed forces with the 6th annual salute to military service.

The event starts Friday and runs through this Sunday. The 60-acre entertainment complex will be turned into a walking tour of the United States Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard.

Active military members, veterans and their families will get 50% off all-day passes along with 25% percent off retail.
