HOUSTON, Tx - Close to two days of downpour, courtesy of Hurricane Patricia, has left Houston in a soggy state of affairs.
In the last 48 hours, rainfall totals neared double digits, even passing the 10-inch mark along the White Oak Bayou. Emergency crews worked through the night, responding to 28 calls for 'high water rescues', but thankfully no flood-related deaths or serious injuries were reported.
Many areas of the county remain flooded, including Buffalo Bayou, parts of the Galleria, and more. While rain is tapering off, officials still warn residents to be alert and, as always, turn around, don't drown.
