HOUSTON - Houston is doing great and folks at Gallup agree. Their recent study of America's 100 biggest communities to find which is the happiest and the Bayou City ranks 13th overall.
The rankings were based Gallup polling residents in five different aspects of well-being such as purpose, social, financial, community and physical.
Despite the humidity and threat of hurricanes, Houston is second in the nation when it comes to population growth. In 2013, Harris County alone grew by over 80,000 happy new residentes.
