Wake up Houston! It’s time for a new official song or at least one man thinks so.
Ryan Supak started a petition on Change.org to change H-Town’s official song to Houston hit “Tops Drop“, by legendary Houston rapper Fat Pat. Supak says this newer, hipper sound unifies people.
“Everybody loves it, all colors, all ages, rich and poor, hipsters and jocks, everybody ” said Supak who owns and DJ’s at Arlo’s Ballroom, an East Downtown nightclub.
Houston’s current official song, “Houston Municipal Song” was written more a hundred years ago.
