HOUSTON, TX – Looks like a line was crossed in Northwest Harris County.  It happened overnight at the Primos Food Store on Old Bammel.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office says two friends were in the middle of an on-going fight over a television. The fight eventually led them to Primos Food Store.

According to the sheriff’s office, that’s when 28-year-old Derion Lajuan Caldwell opened fire on 25-year-old Almando Owens. The sheriff’s office says Owens was taken to Willowbrook Methodist Hospital where he later died.

The sheriff’s office says Caldwell fled, then later returned to the scene, where he was ID’d by eyewitnesses. The only good news in all this is that Caldwell is in custody and is facing murder charges.

Wonder what’s in store for Caldwell.
