HOUSTON, Tx. - Houston, we do a lot of things great. Our New Years Eve celebrations are awesome! As far as Valentines Day romancing, our fine dining ranks at the top. But according to the latest numbers from Wallethub.com, we suck at Halloween.   Out of the top 100 cities in the U.S. to celebrate the hauntingest of holidays - we`re the 9th worst in the nation.

Two of the three main criteria were scored pretty low. On “Safety & Surroundings” we ranked 63rd overall. As far as “Parties and Activities,” we`re ranked 53rd!

But the last category is the real monster - Halloween weather. We ranked 99th because if you experienced the remnants of Patricia, you felt a preview of what forecasters are predicting for Halloween. There’s a 90% chance for thunderstorms.

Don`t let a bunch of numbers get you down, though. You go out there, be safe, and enjoy a Halloween party Houston. So that next year we can say boo to #1 New York City!
