HOUSTON, TX - Pope Francis has been going non-stop ever since he stepped foot on U.S. soil, and students at Cristo Rey Jesuit here in Houston have been watching his every move. That's because seven of these lucky students will be joining the Pontiff on the east coast this week.

“I was literally screaming whenever my teacher told me that I had been selected. It was like a dream come true,” remembered Cristo Rey senior Nohemi Almaguer.

Before they head out on their holy field trip, the students were blessed in a ceremony Wednesday, to help prepare them for what's bound to be a trip of a lifetime.

The students have been preparing every week since they were chosen last spring, and their preparation will pay off this weekend when they get to see and take in Pope Francis in Philadelphia.
