HOUSTON, TX – If you notice a few more 1%’rs around the Bayou City these past few years, it`s not your imagination. There`s more, lots more – that according to a report by New World Wealth, who listed the fastest growing cities for multimillionaires.

“Multimillionaire” refers to having over 10 million dollars in assets. From 2004 to 2014, Houston saw a 63% rise in multimillionaires. From just shy of 2300, to nearly 3700 – in just a decade.

And it`s not only rich folks filing their taxes here either, more are visiting, too. Another report shows Houston’s on four out of the top 10 private jet routes in the country.

And while we`re beating Dallas, and come on that`s the most important statistic here, global comparisons will takes and some of the wind out of our sail. Asia is rocking it from 400% growth in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to Hong Kong jumping from 8,500 to over 15,000 multimillionaires.

But when it comes to big bucks in the good ol` U.S.A., Houston is moving on up.
