HOUSTON, TX – Gallery Furniture gave Hurt Porter an early Christmas gift by giving the Houston military veteran a house full of new furniture. Porter is veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
Porter joined the military in 2001 after the 9/11 attacks, and suffered from post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The disorder affected him in many ways including interfering with his personal relationships.
He was able to overcome his hardships after deciding to help others who suffer from PTSD. He’s succeeded in mending his broken relationships while helping others in the community to better themselves.
On Tuesday, Gallery Furniture delivered a holiday surprise to Porter in recognition of his efforts by furnishing his home with all new furniture.
