HOUSTON – One Houston woman loves herself so much that she married herself.
Yasmin Eleby vowed that if she didn’t find love by the time she turned 40 she’d throw herself the lavish wedding she always dreamed of. So she married herself at the Houston Museum of African American Culture on January 3, 2015.
She had 10 bridesmaids and her minister sister performed a spiritual service, since it’s technically not legal to marry yourself.
