HOUSTON, TX - It's nice to be kind and do good deeds everyday, but especially on Random Acts of Kindness Day.  Instead of a food indulgent holiday like National Donut Day or National Pizza Day, this one helps more than just a waistline.

Wednesday, customers at Bubba's Texas Burger Shack helped pay it forward by paying for the people in line behind them.

"It's really kind of nice to know someone stopped what they were doing for a second and thought of someone else other than themselves," Chloe Cliett, who received a free bag of chips said. "We were asked if we wanted to pay it forward as well, which we continued in the line. It was really cool to see people do that."

Some other ideas to do on Random Acts of Kindness Day include saying hi to the person next to you on an elevator, leaving quarters at the laundromat, or even something as simple as smiling at five strangers.  For more ideas from the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation, click here
