HOUSTON -- In order to make sure children were well-equipped before returning to the classroom, Houston rapper Paul Wall held his annual Back to School drive Sunday at Wiley Park.

Teaming up with Parents against Predators (PAP), the rapper was able to give back to the community in a major way, with free food and drinks, backpacks, school supplies and uniforms. The children were able to blow off some last minute summer steam with plenty of activities, lots of dancing and a talent show!

Paul Wall said his mother was a teacher for 30 years, and he knows the importance of giving back and education.

"We are trying to build up the community," he said. "It's a lot of great people here and a lot of good things going on in the community in 4th Ward so we have to support them," he said.
