HARRIS COUNTY — Police have arrested a man accused of molesting a 10-year-old boy at the Aldine Branch of Harris County Public Library.
Jonathon Guevara Cea, 24, is charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child.
It all happened when the child was in the men’s bathroom at the library Aug. 24 around 3:30 p.m. when a man forced him into a stall and sexually assaulted him, investigators said.
Officers said the boy was able to escape, and the suspect left the scene on foot.
Guevara Cea was arrested Friday without incident.
There are no known additional victims, however, anyone who believes their child may have had inappropriate contact with Guevara Cea is urged to contact the HPD Special Victims Division at 713-308-1140 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
