HUMBLE, TX – Investigators say an Humble father shot and killed the boyfriend with whom his daughter was trying to run away.

Around 10:45 p.m., Harris County deputies were called to a home off Neelie Ct. and Kenswick Glen Dr. in the Kenswood Court subdivision. Investigators say the 19-year-old daughter was attempting to leave when her parents tried to stop her, getting into a fight with her 22-year-old boyfriend.

Deputies say the boyfriend was known to have guns in his car, so the dad brought a weapon to the confrontation with him.

“The father discharged a weapon twice. One round struck the male in the chest. The other round struck the mother in the hand,” said Harris County Sgt. Ben Beall.

The boyfriend died at the hospital. The father, mother and daughter are all being questioned and we’ll likely find out about any charges later this morning.
