tebowJACKSONVILLE, FL – Could Tim Tebow’s fire continue to burn in the NFL? Some Jacksonville Jaguars fans hope so. They held a rally in front of the stadium to convince Jags management to sign the single, spirited southpaw.

The Jags suck this year. Their starting QB is injured; they’ve lost both their games and have only scored 11 points — which is the worst in the NFL. An Orlando TV station even apologized to fans for having to air their game instead of the Manning Bro-Bowl. Fans figure, why not Tebow?

Saint Tim is from Jacksonville, and went to college down the road at the University of Florida where he won a Heisman Trophy in 2007 and lead the Gators to a National Championship in 2009. Tebow’s holy connections couldn’t hurt either.

That may be what fans are counting on as their rally began at 3:16 pm in the afternoon and was scheduled to last three hours and — you guessed it — 16 minutes.

The Jags play the Seahawks this week and Tebow or not — divine intervention might be the only way they’ll win.
