BALTIMORE, MD - Jury selection is underway for the trial of Officer William Porter.

Porter is the first of six police officers to be tried in the death of Freddie Gray—the 25-year-old who suffered a severe spinal injury in the back of a police van last April, setting off a wave of protests nationwide.

In Baltimore, today, protesters chanted so loudly, they could be heard by prospective jurors and Porter's lawyers again requested a change of venue.

Porter faces involuntary manslaughter, second degree assault, misconduct in office, and reckless endangerment.
