KANSAS CITY, MO - Three burglars break into a man's house and instead of taking a few goods like they may have planned, all they got was a really big scare.

Nathan Engert, a Jujitsu Blue Belt from Kansas City, happened to be home with poison ivy when he heard intruders kick down his door. Three young crooks had made their way inside his house.

"Then you hear this loud bang and then a second bang," said Engert.

Little did they know, not only was Engert's surveillance camera rolling, but he also wasn't going down without a fight.

As it turns out, he didn't even need to use any martial arts techniques because the guys took one look at him and took off running.

"All three jump over the door and take off," Engert said.

Cops are on the lookout for the trio of thieves.
