SAN FRANCISCO, California — With all the football fan-fare, sports fans should remember there’s another sports event going on. It’s called the World Series!

The Kansas City Royals and the San Francisco Giants face off in the opening game Tuesday night, for the baseball title of all titles.

Obviously, the two cities are showing their respective teams a great deal of support, and two San Francisco radio stations took their love of the game (and their hate for the Royals) to the air-waves. In protest of Kansas City, the stations are refusing to play Lorde’s Royals song, until the end of the World Series.

In response, a Kansas City radio station is playing the song every hour on the hour from 7am to 7pm Tuesday. We’re sure listeners are thrilled about that.
