HOUSTON, TX - He's accused of setting the fire, but it was the "heat" who got to him first. Houston Arson Investigators have arrested and charged 18-year-old Danny Isidoro with reckless arson, after a fire ripped through the Gentry House Apartments on Kempwood, Tuesday evening.

The fire gutted much of the Spring Branch apartment complex. Three firefighters suffered minor injuries while battling the blaze, which displaced about 80 families. In the aftermath, the American Red Cross was ready to give a helping hand.

Regional CEO for the Red Cross, Steve Vetrano, had this to say about the blaze, "In addition to the three buildings that were burned, the entire complex had no electricity, so there were over 280 folks that needed a place to go temporarily. So the shelter was open and we had folks which spent the night here."

Families with nowhere to go sought relief from the Red Cross. So many people affected by the alleged actions of one man. The community is left speechless.
