HOLLYWOOD, CA — Either Taylor’s not so swift, or R&B singer Jessie Braham—who says the pop star stole his lyrics—has got to “shake it off!”
He is reportedly suing T Swizzle for $42 million. They have the bad blood because he says she lifted lyrics from his 2013 tune “Haters Gone Hate.”
He also wants his name added as a writer to her 1989 hit.
Someone is going to have to face the music on this one. His song has the phrases “haters gone hate” and “playas gone play.” He also says something about “fakers.”
Taylor’s chorus says “cause the players gonna play, play, play, play, play…” And then a few lines later she says something similar about how ‘fakers gonna fake.’
Braham (who goes by Graham on his track) reportedly noted in one interview that he also plans to sue CNN for its morning show “New Day” because he runs a church called “New Day Worldwide.”
