AUSTIN, TX - College football season is well under way.

How's your Alma Mater doing?

The Texas Longhorns are struggling a bit.

They're 2-2, after losses to BYU and UCLA, and 'Horns Up' feels more like 'Horns Down.'

So, coach Charlie Strong invited one of the biggest (and most famous) UT fans to come on down and give the boys a pep talk, Academy Award-winning actor Matthew McConaughey.

Now, the video has gone viral.

"I just wanted to come, not come preach anything, not come tell you anything. Just wanted to come have a conversation with you. Look some of you in the eye," said McConaughey.

"Why you play football? Again, no right answer. Ask yourself when you look in the mirror tonight, just say, 'why do I play this game? Why do I come out and practice?'"

"Feels a lot better after a 'W' than it does after an 'L.'"

"Because when you do well, you feel it and look in the mirror and say, 'That's right. I earned that.'"

"Anyway, I did start preaching, didn't I ?"

His rousing speech, you could say, half 'We are Marshall', half 'Wolf on Wall Street,' 100% awesome.
