NEW YORK, NY – Drone drama in the big apple!
Two guys from Manhattan landed themselves in the slammer, after flying a drone that almost slammed into an NYPD helicopter.
Apparently the copter crew spotted the drone near the George Washington Bridge. They watched it circle and head towards them.
At one point, the chopper even had to change course to avoid being hit.
Luckily, the helicopter crew decided to follow the drone until it touched down.
Oh, and the two that own the drone have been released.
No doubt, this adds to growing safety and privacy concerns about skies buzzing with empty unmanned air crafts.
Until set rules are in place, maybe it’s best to leave your drones at home.
