SPACE – Mercury is getting smaller.

Scientists say it’s almost 9 miles less in diameter than it was about four billion years ago, and it’s apparently happening because it’s cooling.  Seeing as it’s still about 800 degrees on the planet, no one is stopping by to learn more, but scientists say the chill has also created massive craters on Mercury’s surface.

The poor planet must be so embarrassed…
