POLK COUNTY, OR – From the spotlight to the slammer, Jesse Helt went from a homeless hottie who accepted the MTV video music award for singer Miley Cyrus to a man who turned himself in to the Polk County Jail in Oregon.

Helt, 22, was wanted for not checking in with his probation officer after being convicted of criminal trespassing in 2011. Maybe he was too busy to make since he was rubbing elbows with celebrities on the red carpet.

But Helt’s five minutes of fame might not be over yet. His bail was set for $25,000 and he was allowed to post 10% of it which police say he was able to pay with cash in hand. We wonder where he got that money from… probably Miley Cyrus.
