NEWTOWN, CT – Who better to show up in Newtown, Connecticut than the one person who actually understands what children at Sandy Hook Elementary School saw the day of the shooting.

Former Arizona Congresswoman, Gabby Giffords, showed the nation what it was like to overcome the aftermath of a senseless mass shooting.

It’s been two years since Giffords was shot in the head during a public event in Tucson, and her recovery’s been almost unbelievable. So, as the sign of hope that she is Gabby met at a private home in Newtown the same week the children of Sandy Hook returned to school. Where there’s a gesture of good will, there’s always someone on the other side.

We can’t decide if it’s a case of stupidity or just morbid curiosity, but Jean Henry, a processing technician at the Connecticut Medical Examiner’s office, has been put on administrative leave for using some seriously questionable judgment.

Henry’s accused of letting her husband look at the body of shooter, Adam Lanza, while his body was in the examiner’s office.

There’s something sick and twisted about wanting to see anymore of Adam Lanza than we already have, because since they released this mug shot all we’ve been trying to do is get his face out of our minds!
