A motorcycle driver is clinging to life after he flipped over his bike and hit his head.  According to police, the man in his mid-40’s was riding around the area of Hwy 6 and Westheimer when he lost control and hit the center median.

“This gentleman was not wearing a helmet at the time and struck the concrete head first.  He sustained massive head injuries.  At this time he’s in very critical condition”, said Javier Tapia with the Houston Police Department.

The driver was taken by LifeFlight to West Houston Hospital.  HPD said the man passed away at one point but was revived.
