LOS ANGELES, CA – What would MTV’s Video Music Awards be without drama?

Host Miley Cyrus got things started early when she Instagrammed a naked photo Sunday morning and the crazy just kept coming on the red carpet and on stage.

Nicki Minaj won “Hip-Hop Video of the Year” for “Anaconda” and when she called Cyrus out.

After collecting her moonman, the rapper said, “Back to this b**** that had a lot to say about me in the press. Miley, what’s good?” The show’s production crew sucked when they cut Minaj off, shifting over to Cyrus as quickly as they could.

Kanye West’s 12-minute rambling speech to accept the “Video Vanguard Award” kind of sucked until he dropped a bomb and the mic.

“As you probably could have guessed by this moment, I have decided in 2020 to run for president,” West announced before walking off the stage.

As far as performances go, does anyone know why Justin Bieber was crying? What was that all about?

Finally, no surprise here, Taylor Swift walked away with a couple of moonmen, including “Video of the Year.” But let’s be real: we scored getting to see all those “Bad Blood” beauties together again on stage.

Only 9.8 million tuned in to watch the show which was down from the previous year.
