NE Houston building burns to ground after 3rd fire in 3 months

HOUSTON, TX – A northeast Houston building burned to the ground overnight after the third fire at the location in three months.

Just after midnight Friday, fire crews responded to the building near Tidwell Rd. and Lockwood Dr. The flames were so big, firefighters couldn’t get inside. They took a defensive approach, but couldn’t save the building.

Arson investigators are working to figure out how the fire started.
