HOUSTON, Texas – It`s time for a party because 2015 is almost here. So how do you welcome the new year without blowing a wad of cash?
You can hang out with the Allen Oldies Band at the Continental club, since it is free!

“We have a, just giant throw down, audience comes up on stage, we have great fun, champagne toast at midnight,” explained Allen Hill of the Allen Oldies Band.

“We make it free every year because all over town people are gouging people. It’s New Years Eve, that’s no fun, we’re here about fun!” according to Pete Gordon of the Continental Club.

If your taste is more contemporary, hop over to Fitzgerald’s to hear the BLSHS band. There is no cover charge if you’re over 21.

For the kids, the Children`s Museum of Houston and the Woodlands Children`s Museum offer midday celebrations for nominal admission fees. George Ranch Historical Park also offers activities for the kinder crowd.

The city Of Sugar Land hosts two events, One for kids and another later for the adults who are young at heart.
Whatever your choice, be safe and here`s to a “Happy and Healthy New Year.”
