NEW YORK, NY – For a city that’s seen its fair share of tragedy; a story like this touches even the most jaded of New Yorkers.
Several people were watching as a 45-year-old mother jumped from her 8th floor apartment window in Harlem, NY, with her baby in her arms. The woman died on impact, but her 1-year-old little boy had someone looking out for him.
Miraculously the little boy survived the fall and was taken to a local hospital in critical, but stable condition.
Neighbors say the woman was married and had been arguing with her husband hours before she made the jump.
Investigators are still trying to determine if the woman committed suicide, but, even when that’s figured out the answer as to why this happened will most likely remain unanswered.
