BROOKLYN, NY - Police say they found nine boa constrictors and a gator inside 44-year-old Johnnie Morgan's Brooklyn, New York apartment. The wild things weren't the only thing they found, however. Police say they also found drugs and live ammunition.
It's pretty impressive that he was able to accommodate all those reptiles in his small apartment.
Cops say they got an "anonymous tip," but Morgan's wild inhabitants seemed like common knowledge around his neighborhood. A man who works at a store right beside the apartment building says Morgan would bring his "pets" down often, and would even let people take pictures with them.
The reptiles are now residing in the Bronx Zoo. As for the not-so sneaky-snake owner, he couldn't slither his way out of this one. He was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment.
