SALT LAKE CITY, UT – Virginia is for lovers. But according to a popular dating website, Utah is for virgins. OkCupid used data gathered from its users, to rank each state’s concentration of people looking for casual sex and those that have never gotten it.

When it comes to a quick fling, Oregon scored the most, according to the dating site. The Beaver State (no, we’re not making it up) topped the Casual Sex Rankings with well over 15% of users interested in one-night-stands with no stings attached. Guess Oregon isn’t called the big “O” for nothing. Other states big on casual hookups are Washington at number two and Vermont at number three. Get you some.

Now, if it’s virgins you’re looking for, Utah can’t be touched. This Mormon capitol ranks number one for those who have never had sex. Like ever! According to OkCupid users in Utah, nearly 20% are registered as virgins on the web site. Guess they’re all saving themselves for that special stranger they could meet online someday. The other virgin territories are South Dakota at number two. Followed closely by Idaho (or Ida-no ho’s) at number three.

So, from those who don’t to those who do, there are lots of interesting stuff to learn on this interactive map. Just poke around, but remember some states have more experience with poking than others.
