ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Police are hunting for 29-year-old Lionel Clah after he jumped out of a prison transport van Wednesday. Clah is serving time for armed robbery and shooting a police officer.

Friday night, 32 year old Joseph Cruz, a convicted murderer, was nabbed near Albuquerque after escaping along with Cruz. The friendly killer was happy to tell the media about his ability to escape with no help.

Said Cruz, “That’s why I got busted, if I would have had help I would have been gone.”

Cops aren’t buying that. They say the pair had help, especially after a seeing hotel surveillance picture showing the escapees looking like tourists after ditching their prison shackles and wardrobes.
