WELLINGTON, NEW ZEALAND – Viagra! We all know what it’s used for.

So who would have thought the drug that could be the unofficial sponsor of the Playboy mansion could help babies?!

The drug works in men by increasing blood supply to the pelvis.

With that kind of logic, researchers in New Zealand figured it would do the same to women. So, they’re heading a trial using the erectile dysfunction drug in hopes it will help the survival of underdeveloped fetuses by improving blood and nutrient supply.

In the fall, 122 women who risk delivering early will begin the trial.

It makes sense: Preventing two premature problems with one little blue pill.
