Caught in a jam? Never fear, just call the CondAm. For students who are caught in the heat of the moment, but are missing part of their “threesome”, Sophomore Kyle McCabe is at your rescue. He’s started CondAm, a condom delivery service at the College of New Jersey.

Short for condom ambulance, CondAm is available 24/7. It’s a condom delivery service that provides rubbers via text, email or phone.

Within in minutes Kyle can be at your doorstep with a rubber. Oh and a waiver saying if it fails, he’s not liable.  Just a little sexual insurance.

CondAm is busiest during weekends, when Kyle receives around 30 to 40 orders. He sells Trojans and a couple different flavors and sizes of Glyde. One condom costs $3 and 10 can set you back $15.

Now Kyle doesn’t have an actual ambulance, so he’s made his own. He rides around campus on a bike, with a flashing helmet and backpack full of condoms.

“Don’t put it in yet”.

He says he’s not doing it for the cash but to help promote safe sex.

Sharing is caring. And when it comes to STDs college students tend to share a little too much. According to the CDC 1 in 4 college students have an STD. Only 54% of them use condoms regularly. Overall, the CDC estimates that 19 million new sexually transmitted infections occur each year, almost half among 15- to 24-year-olds.

So whatever you do, call the CondAm, go to the grocery store, make sure to wrap it up!

And that’s today’s helping of The Online Dish with Maggie.
