Have you ever just not been in the mood? Used the good ole excuse, “Not tonight Honey, I have a headache?”

Well one hubby became so frustrated after countless sexual rejections from his wife, he built a spreadsheet documenting all of her excuses.

Excuses like:

“I feel sweaty and gross.”

“You’re too drunk.”

“I’m too drunk.”

“I’m watching my show, I don’t want to miss anything.”

The unnamed 26-yr-old husband then emailed his wife, 26, the spreadsheet while she was on the way to the airport for a 10-day work trip. She then posted it on Reddit.

“Yesterday morning, while in a taxi on the way to the airport, Husband sends a message to my work email which is connected to my phone. He’s never done this, we always communicate in person or by text. I open it up, and it’s a sarcastic diatribe basically saying he won’t miss me for the 10 days I’m gone. Attached is a SPREADSHEET of all the times he has tried to initiate sex since June 1st, with a column for my “excuses”, using verbatim quotes of why I didn’t feel like having sex at that very moment. According to his ‘document’, we’ve only had sex 3 times in the last 7 weeks, out of 27 “attempts” on his part.”

Supposedly after he hit send he cut off all contact with her.

The reaction on Reddit has been mixed. Some in her favor, others in his, and some are putting blame on both of them.

First of all, sex and intimacy is crucial to a relationship. If you’re not having sex with your partner and it’s bad enough that you feel the need to make a spreadsheet, clearly there are some red flags! You should sit down as a couple and talk it out.

But honestly, if my man were to be so passive aggressive and send me a spreadsheet of all of the times we didn’t have sex, and then cut of contact, yeah, I wouldn’t exactly want to spread ‘em for him. I’d dry up as quick as the Sahara desert.

And that’s today’s helping of The Online Dish with Maggie.
