EUGENE, OR – An Oregon man’s evening of naughty fun turned into a night of jail.
Police say Michael Ritchey paid a visit to Eugene’s Silver Dollar Club and was initially thought to be a generous tipper. But when the dancers realized he was just tossing pieces of paper and his Oregon Trail Card at them, the bouncer asked Ritchey to take off.
Ritchey did leave the building, but then allegedly kicked and dented a car in the parking lot. When the bouncer yelled at him, Ritchey allegedly grabbed a glass bottle, broke it and tried to attack the bouncer.
Ritchey took off, but officers tracked him down on a nearby bike path, booking him on assault, menacing, criminal mischief and weapons charges. That’s how he ended up our Dumbass of the Day.
