PORTLAND, OR - If your parents didn't sit you down and give you "The Talk," we'll skip over the juicy parts and just leave you with this: be careful with whom you get into bed.

We really wish Richard Defeudis' parents had told him as much. Maybe then he wouldn't have allegedly broken into a Portland, Ore. home, taken off his clothes, curled up in bed next to the couple who lived there and kissed the husband.

That little bit of affection woke up the husband, which startled Defeudis. He threw his pants back on and tried to run, but not before the homeowner grabbed a gun and fired three shots at the suspect.

It didn't take long for police to track Defeudis down and book him on burglary and sex abuse charges.

Hopefully this experience taught our Dumbass of the Day to keep his pants on and stay out of other people's beds.
