BRUSSELS, BELGIUM – 33 suspected crooks behind a $50 million diamond heist at a Brussels airport last winter are trading jewels for jail cells.

French media reports that police in Belgium, France, and Switzerland nabbed 33 suspects and uncovered a large amount of diamonds and cash while they were at it.

The crime itself looked like it was out of a movie. Authorities say in February, eight masked and heavily armed men that looked like police officers drove through a hole in a fence surrounding a Brussels airport tarmac. The guys grabbed the diamonds from the hold of an airplane before speeding away. And they almost got away. That is until now.

Diamonds are forever. And if found guilty, so is an arrest record.
