HOUSTON, TX – Several units were damaged in an overnight fire at a southwest Houston apartment complex.
Crews got the call just before 10 p.m. Thursday, reporting smoke and flames coming from a first-floor apartment. It didn’t take long to get the flames out, but figuring out how and where the fire started is taking longer than expected.
“That is still under investigation by the fire marshal’s office,” said Capt. Brian Gazaway with Community Fire Department. “We’re still trying to figure out the details of who was or wasn’t at home in any of the units.”
Fire crews say two units were damaged by the flames.
