PEARLAND – Tucker Beau Hyatt, who recently turned seven, will be playing lacrosse for the Pearland Rail Cat Lacrosse team this season, a feat that was once thought impossible. Since the age of two, Tucker Beau has lived with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA), a rare form of arthritis that affects 30,000 children each year and causes intense joint pain. Tucker’s pain was so intense that he was unable to ride his bike or engage in any physical activity.
After meeting with doctors and coming up with a plan using stem cells, Tucker has been able to overcome his arthritis to embrace the sport of lacrosse.
